Why I Created Inara

In 2021, I picked up a dry-wipe marker and scribbled a few words on my wardrobe door — a vision of what lit me up most: learning how to heal, holistically, inside and out.

My journey started years earlier, after losing my mum to cancer in 2017. Her experience pushed me to ask deeper questions: What really is cancer? Why does it happen? And why do so many treatments feel harsher than the illness itself?

I began exploring the other side — the stories of people who turned to herbs, nutrition, and holistic living. And slowly, I realised healing doesn’t have to come in a syringe or pill. There are other ways — rooted in nature, simplicity, and balance.

As I kept learning, I couldn’t ignore how much power we have when we understand our bodies and emotions. How our physical and emotional health are connected. And how much of that knowledge has been buried or forgotten.

So I created Inara Wellbeing. A space to share everything I’ve learned — and keep learning. If you're curious about holistic healing, building your own herbal rituals, or just finding a gentler way to feel well — you’re in the right place.

Here’s what I originally wrote on my wardrobe (now typed up):

    • Be your own pharmacist — build your apothecary

    • Share trusted knowledge — a growing resource

    • Offer feel-good, affordable, luxe

    • Heal holistically — physically, emotionally, spiritually

    • To make holistic healing accessible.

    • To use nature’s herbs to nourish the body from within.

    • To link physical healing with emotional balance.

    • To support disease prevention, not just symptom relief.

    • To offer a space that empowers you to understand your health, your way.

Behind the Name

Ever wonder where the name Inara came from? It wasn’t random — it came through prayer, patience, and a little nudge from the unseen. What started as a logical search turned into something much deeper.

Here’s the story behind the name — and why it means so much.
